THE FUNNIEST FACE IN THE WORLD!!!

Rylin does a new face, but this face is none like any of the others she has ever done before. Ryun and Lindsay were making Rylin frustrated because we wouldn't pick her up for two seconds and all of a sudden she did this face. Now everytime she gets frustrated she does this same face, we love it and sometimes bug her just so we can laugh. We love her !!!

Here is the FIRST step in the face, she is kinda bugged but not yet all the way.

Here is the SECOND step in face, she is getting more upset.

AND BAM! HERE IS THE THIRD STEP IN THIS ADORABLE FACE!

Here we are learning to crawl and we are getting some help from Daddy

Rylin is starting to get mad, you can see her getting ready to give the face because she is frustrated with the whole idea of crawling.

Our Funny Lil' Girl

Rylin is now 6 months old and is still growing like the speed of light, here are some pics of our day together with Lindsay, Rylin and the camera. She knows exactly what to do when I hold the camera up and she sees the flash go once. We love our little baby.

Here is her "pose", I just held the camera up and she looked and made this face, hillarious.

Just playing around with the camera, taking different pics from different angles and she keeps smiling.

Rylin giving Momma some priceless kisses.

Daddy put this silly hat on her and she ended up loving it.

Rylin in the Hospital with RSV

Rylin again with RSV, here is her last day in the hospital-as you can tell she is much happier and more playful than ever. Thank heavens she only had to spend a few days in the hospital.

Here she is with her oxygen mask thingy on and her I.V. on her left arm. She normally sucks her left thumb so when the nurse put the I.V. on her left hand she was frustrated with the wrapping on it.

This photograph is right before we got the okay that her oxygen levels were high and stable enough to be off the oxygen tube machine. She is so cute and playful, we are so glad that she is feeling better.

Rylin really didn't understand what mommy was doing and thought it was time to play.

Lindsay had to pull the tape off of her skin, she wasn't too happy when that happened- but she was glad to be breathing on her own and not have tubes up her nose.

Daddy looks stoned here, we wre so tired by this time that our bodies were there but not our complete minds. We are just glad that Rylin is doing better and that all is well.

Rylin's RSV that she had went from bad to worse within a few days of seeing her pediatric Doctor. Rylin was admitted into the Hospital on Thursday January 31st and was in the hospital until Saturday February 2nd. It was a horrific day for Lindsay. Rylin had to have an I.V. put in her hand so that she would get fluids, Lindsay was hysterical and Rylin took it better than Lindsay did. Rylin was very brave and patient for the nurses and Ryun and Lindsay- it was hard to see our little angel sit there and go through so much, but we knew that it would only help her get through the sickness. We had an amazing Respitory Therapist at Madison Memorial Hospital here in Rexburg Idaho, he went through details that no doctor has ever done before- we felt like he cared about Rylin on a special level that not even our own pediatric doctor has. She is still on Albuterol breathing treatments but she is on the last leg of RSV and is doing very well, here are some photographs of our little family in the Hospital.

This is Rylin's Crib that she napped in while mom and dad needed a break from holding her!

This is Rylin finally asleep from a long night of not sleeping at all, poor little girl is exhausted.

She doesn't feel good at all, it broke our hearts to see her like this!

Her Crib again just from another angle

Ryun and Lindsay just hanging out while Rylin gets some sleep.

Sick Baby

It's the peak season for RSV for infants and children this time of year... Our poor little Rylin has it, in these pictures Ryun is giving her the breathing treatment she has to have in order to breathe a lot better. Our luck she hasn't had to be hospitalized yet!

She hated the little purple dinosaur mask they
gave us to use, but she loves this blue hose looking thing.

She tries to eat it sometimes because she likes it,
that really makes it easy for us because we hate
to hear her scream, and we hate to force it on her-
but it will help.

Ryun and Rylin just after a treatment watching
a disney movie! Rylin is looking and doing a lot
better now.

Ryun's 23rd Birthday Party

HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY RYUN!!!

This party was just a friends party for Ryun. We had dinner with Ryun's parents to celebrate Ryun's birthday earlier in the week and we also had a party with the Choffin family to celebrate his birthday. This party took place on the Friday night January 25th, his real birthday was on Tuesday January the 22nd.

Ryun arrived to his surprise birthday party at 7 pm and Lindsay made him wear this ridiculous Birthday Prince hat.

Lindsay and Katey decorated the living room and kitchen for Ryun's surprise party, this is Ryun again in that hat that Lindsay made him wear.

Ryun and Lindsay, just a quick picture together- Rylin was sleeping in her crib.

Walter and his wife are Ryun and Lindsay's married friends, they are fun to be around .

Corey and Katey were enjoying themselves to some soda and snacks. They drove all the way from Pocatello to be here for this party.

Everyone is chillin' and hanging out! It was a fun night! From left to right in the photo; Walter's wife, alex (in the back), AJ (in the back), Jeff (in the front) Kristi

CAKE TIME!!! Lindsay forgot to buy candles, so Ryun used matches on top of his cake. He is trying to light it up!!!

After we all sang happy birthday to Ryun, he blew out the "matches" they went up in flames so fast, that is was alex and jeff are laughing at in the background.

Slowly taking the matches off of the cake... hope Ryun made his special wish! happy birthday!!!

Rexburg Temple 2008

On January 17th, 2008 the Choffin family had the opportunity to attend the Rexburg Temple open house tour. This was an experience of a life time. Since the recent passing of our beloved prophet Gordon B. Hinckley, this Temple has become more meaningful to our family. Momma Choffin somehow worked her magic and was able to have one of the workers give the entire family a tour of the Bride's room in this amazing building- what an experience, this temple is unlike anything I have ever seen, from the chandeliers to the wood work and the paintings. Enjoy these simple photographs of the outside of the building.

The Rexburg Temple from the south east view,
how gorgeous and majestic!!!

Here is the front view of the Temple,
this is the entrance of the temple.

Even in the blistering of Rexburg Idaho the temple
really does stand out like a beacon of light to the
city of Rexburg- especially since it is on hill standing
taller than any other building in the city.

The beloved angel Moroni standing
triumphantly on top of the spire . Ryun
and I can still remember the moments
we stood out in the rain on the day that
the angel Moroni was first placed on top
of the Temple spire.

So white, so pure, so amazing!!!
